The idea of this blog is to present mathematics and statistics in understandable language, with brutal honesty. The goal is that it should be readable for people without any university level mathematics or statistics background.
I also hope it is interesting for those who have studied statistics, and that you disagree with some of what I say (that's what comments are for).
I will make a separate section for Technical Statistics for any posts that are only accessible with a significant statistics background.
The primary reason I am writing this blog, at least at the moment, is for me to make a critical investigation of what we do in the field of statistics. By asking (and answering) the questions that are natural from an outside view (common sense), I hope to get a better understanding of the important parts.
